Looking at the Met’s offence report, I don’t feel convinced that Notting Hill carnival can be called a success.

Contrary to the right-wing media’s belief, I don’t believe culture is ‘the issue’ – but the environment. Notting Hill’s streets are over-filled, under-facilitated, and dangerous. Last year, a life was lost. Until the crime decreases, it can’t be a success. How do you fix the issue? Move the carnival to a controlled area, with security checkpoints and adequate toilets, like any music festival.

Edit: Since posting, two lives have been lost from injuries sustained at carnival this year

Elon Musk seems to protect free speech only when it unlocks freedom for the right-wing. Sure would be a shame if he forced ex-employees into signing illegal NDAs. Sounds to me like a two-tier system in itself.
